The original “Golden Gate” is the passage spanned by the bridge which takes its name. This photo was taken from a catamaran which provides public tours round the bay. As we were sailing back through the Golden Gate, the wind behind us, I took a sequence of shots. I believe this one best captures the interaction between the sails and the iconic bridge. I love the red, white and blue theme! The picture speaks to me both about sailing out into the adventure of life, and about coming home safe at the end of that adventure, where another set of gates await us...
